How to stop CANDDi tracking showing in Google Analytics
If you’re using other analytics tools alongside CANDDi, you’ll have seen some minor discrepancies between tracking solutions. This is completely normal, and to be honest, expected!
We work completely differently, so if you want to keep your CANDDi and Google Analytics data separate, that’s not a problem!
All you have to do is make sure Google Analytics skips certain query string parameters when processing your website visitors.
To do this, log into your Google Analytics account and head to your settings. You’ll want to click on the ‘View Settings’ option for this.
This will open up a new page showing the following options.
In the ‘Exclude URL Query Parameters’ box, you’ll want to copy and paste the following parameters used by CANDDi: ce, cfn, cln, cas, cph, ccs, ce_b4, cfn_b4, cln_b4, cc_b4, cph_b4,, cas_b4, coid.
Don’t worry, removing the query parameters would not affect the data at all. The query string parameters are unwanted because they have no real significance in the URL.
