Quotes > Amy Lynch > Unconscious-bias
We’re by no means perfect, but as a company, CANDDi prides itself on it’s inclusivity.
This is something that’s becoming increasingly more important as people open up about bias and the impact it has on society. As a result, many companies are looking at ways to learn and adapt accordingly.
The best place to start is bringing your unconscious thoughts into your consciousness and challenging them. If your thoughts aren’t based on solid facts, you shouldn’t be taking any action.
You’d think that was just common sense, wouldn’t you? But unfortunately for some people it’s not.
If you see your friends, family or colleagues acting/ speaking with prejudice, don’t be afraid to call them out. That’s how we can change going forward.
