Yule not want to miss this...
In an attempt to spread a little Christmas cheer, we thought we’d invite you behind the scenes of CANDDi HQ.
Since CANDDi started 11 years ago, our ethos has always stayed the same. Keep it personal.
From onboarding meetings to 24/7 live chats, you can always count on CANDDi to be there when you need us!
That’s why since day dot, we’ve kept our business team a tiny group of seven(ish). A dysfunctional family of sorts.
But who are the faces behind it all?
Hopefully some of you would like to know a bit more about us!
Others might just be glad to know we’re not a team of robots plotting world domination.
But even if you’re just looking to kill 5 minutes of your time on the countdown to Christmas, why not have a read of our team’s Christmas favourites below.
Let’s start with Mr Ebeneezer Scrooge himself. Our CEO, Tim.
DISCLAIMER: Tim is not at all tight, he’s just a bit bah humbug when it comes to Christmas. If you don’t believe me, please see below:
What’s your favourite Christmas song?
“Ummmm no. By 9th December I’m usually done with Christmas songs.” Nice Tim, real nice.
Baileys or advocaat?
“Baileys - usually with a little milk or ice.” Did someone say lightweight? No? Oh, my bad.
Mince pies or Christmas pudding?
“Neither, urgh”.
Parsnips or sprouts?
“Once again neither - both completely the wrong colours for my dietary habits.” If it ain’t beige, Tim wont eat it. I’m starting to see a pattern here, aren’t you?
Favourite Christmas present?
“Lego train set when I was about 6”
What’s your favourite part of Christmas Day?
“Cheese and port :)” Now that is something I can get on board with!
If you could pick 3 people to cook christmas dinner for, who would it be?
“My kids (there’s four of them though - you’re not really going to make me choose are you???” I’m sure I can get the goss after our Christmas do. Sorry kids!
Next up is our latest addition and CANDDi newbie Oli! You’ll bump into him (socially distanced, of course) if you ever book a demo with us. Is that not reason enough?
What’s your fave christmas film?
“Home Alone (although I’d never watch it if I was alone at home)” Erm… how do you cope at Halloween Oli?
Do you have a favourite Christmas song?
“Santa, Teach me to Dance” by Debbie & the Darnels”

“Depends on Santa’s perspective”
Worst Christmas present?
“Mobile phone, never put it down since”
What’s your favourite part of Christmas day?
“That sweet moment in the afternoon, after dinner, when I fall asleep watching the TV (I’m not as old as I sound!)”

Will you be on the naughty or nice list this year?
“Nice.”
Would you rather have a nose like Rudolph or ears like an elf?

What’s your best Christmas memory?
“Wetherspoons, every christmas eve” I’m starting to see a theme amongst our staff here… do we have a problem?

What’s your favourite part of Christmas day?
“Dinner.”
Would you rather have a nose like Rudolph or ears like an elf?
“Ears like an elf, easy work as a Lord of the Rings extra” If there’s any film makers out there, here’s your guy!
