CANDDi is hiring: graduate developers
We need committed people who want to develop large-scale web applications, and deliver a great service to our customers, to join our Development Team in Newcastle upon Tyne.
You are a web expert in the making, with relevant degree and desire to build large-scale web applications. You will be working within our existing team to develop and maintain our core analytics platform, using interesting technology and pioneering visitor profiling methods.
We pride ourselves on the strength of our team and solving tough problems. You must enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced environment, and be ready to share your ideas freely.
Here are some of the basic components that we are using, and that we expect you to have an understanding of:
- Linux
- Object Oriented Programming
- PHP
- Javascript (including JQuery)
- Git
- HTML
Other software components that we are working with include:
- Backbone.js
- Node.js
- MongoDB
- Nginx
- RabbitMQ
Familiarity with some of these is highly prized.
We don’t expect you have changed the world with your software, yet. We do expect you to have at least one decent web project under your belt and to be willing to tell us why you are proud of your contribution to it; github links appreciated.
We are always researching and utilising leading edge open source software and are looking for developers that want to experiment and learn new things that they can share with the rest of the team.
