Our investors are a diverse range of Angels and investment funds. They all provide CANDDi with invaluable advice and support as well as capital to drive our business forward.

Richard Exley, Northstar Ventures
Richard Exley is Head of Proof of Concept funds at Northstar Ventures, one of the primary investors in CANDDi. Richard previously worked at Forward Venture Management where he led investment appraisals for technology deals from Higher Education Institution partners. Prior to this he was Head of Intellectual Property & Marketing at the University of Sheffield where he was responsible for a range of successful deals.

Alex Buchan, Northstar Ventures
Alex Buchan joined CANDDi as an investor this September. He is an investment manager at Northstar's Accelerator fund, investing in high growth, innovative early stage businesses. Alex has held a series of senior commercial roles in the biotechnology sector, and holds a PhD in Microbiology.

Chris Nixon, Angel Investor
Chris came on board with CANDDi this September. Chris is an experienced Managing Director and Commercial Director, having grown many businesses including moneysupermarket.co.uk. He also invests in and advises several other businesses.

Tim O'Shea, Angel Investor
Tim O'Shea is the Founder and Managing Director at Blurtit, the question based search platform, and has been with CANDDi as an investor since September. Tim has founded other web-based businesses and holds an MSc in Engineering Science from Oxford University.

Clément Schvartz, Angel Investor
Clément Schvartz joined the CANDDi investor team this September. Clément has been a Sales Director for EMEA large customers at Google for five years, and is now Global Head of Doubleclick search. He also holds an MBA from one of the FT's top European business schools.

Jolyon Latimer, Angel Investor
Jolyon Latimer came on board as a CANDDi investor this year. He is the Investment Director at CBPE Capital, the private equity firm. He specialises in selective medium term investments, and prior to joining CBPE Jolyon spent six years working on buyouts in Europe and North America. He has a degree in Law & Accounting from the University of Manchester.
